Default Kenwood DNX-8120

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, and I tried searching but couldn't find the information I needed. I am planning on installing a Kenwood DNX-8120 in the dash of my 08 GT, and on Crutchfield it says that some head units with fold down screens have issues with the Mustang dash. Does anyone have any experience with the Kenwood in dash DVD players? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also, I am planning to replace all speakers/amps in my car, so I am curious if I would need the PAC adapter. $130 seems like a lot to spend if it isnt really necessary.

Thanks in advance,

Marty

Send me a PM, i can hook you up with the PAC C2R-FRD1 cheaper,it does make a difference.

The screen shouldnt be a problem.I have has a single din Clarion flip out and double din motorized and they have been fine.It might make a difference if you have a auto and the screen is open

metra 70-5521 is all u need the pac harness is not needed at all, save the money, all u need is the cheap radio shack voltage regulator which has been discussed tons of times

if u are replacing all speakers etc just get a 70-5520
