Default 8" woofers

i been thinking of replacing the woofers in my 2006. does anyone know how deep the stock woofer is? the Pioneer TS-SW841D are 2 1/2" deep and the EARTHQUAKE SWS-8 is 2 1/8" deep. the pioneers are about $70. the earthquakes are about $180. will the pioneers fit? are the earthquakes that much better? if i have to spends $180 for them to fit, i will. i'm trying not to put a sub in the trunk.
thanks for any help.

you will need to have an amp to power them, the factory amps are not good with aftermarket equipment due to impedence differences.
