I have an 87 LX with the Stock Radio, (Not Premium Sound, just with a Tape Deck) and the Light where it says what channel and the time is very dim and next to impossible to see. I've messed around with some fuses but nothing. Is this a case where the radio needs to be removed and a bulb needs to be changed? Thanks

 

Yup sounds like the bulb possible you have to pull it out and check. Or maybe its time for an upgrade?
