Default Radio Install Help

I didn't see this forum and already posted this in the tech forum. Sorry for the double post, but maybe someone different will see it here.

Hi,
I just bought an 87 GT convertible 2 weeks ago and I love it. I need some help from all you Mustang experts.
My 87 GT came with the factory EQ. I removed the stock unit. I have a Kenwood head unit with the factory harness adaptor. I wired in everything and I have no sound from the speakers. I know the head unit is good because I unpluged the Kenwood I have in my truck and plugged it into my truck and it works fine. I would guess that the EQ plug has something to do with it, but what do I have to do to make it work? Please help.
Thanks
Frank

Ok. I have the whole interior out, so that makes it a lot easier. The amp is mounted right behind the console to the hump. I unbolted & unpluged it. Then I found the other 2 connector that the radio install harness plugs into. Now I have rear speakers and dash speakers, but no door speakers. Any more advice on gettin the door speakers working.
Thanks
Frank

Where in Florida do you live? If you're in South Florida, feel free to swing by and we can take a look at it.
