Default Amp and Sub Hook up

I want to hook up an amp and sub to my Mach 460 system. For the moment I’m going to hook it up with the stock headunit and when I get some cash in a few months I’m going to change it out for something nicer.

I’ve searched the site and info is not clear about what I need to get this done as it seems I keep finding several ways to do this. I know that there is a tutorial at mustangworld but I can’t view that site from work.

So can someone tell me whether I need a Line Out Converter or do I just splice some RCAs on. Which wires and where are they located? I’ve done this before on other cars but it was a while ago.

I’ve got the Amp wiring kit already as well as the subs and amp, so do I need anything else ?

Thanks for the help

Yeah mustangworld in the how tos will show what you need to do and has Pictures just fellow that.....Yes you will need a lineout converter unless your amp has speaker level inputs, but line out converter is the way to good and I think it is easlier....
