Show me your fox trunk set ups!
I'm at a stump on what to do with the trunk of my fox. I'd like to have a low weight sub setup that takes little room with amp(s) and sub(s) since I plan on adding a nitrous bottle back there also.
So show me how you've setup your 5.0 hatchbacks. There's got to be someone out there with something good.

I may be new around here, but I am not new to car audio. One of my first summer jobs in high school was working with fiberglass, and it really sucked in Louisiana's June through August heat!
There are countless hours on this setup. Basically just started with a wooden skeleton of MDF board and streched fleece(usually only on the forward facing pieces) over the skeleton and started fiberglassing. Many many layers and a couple hundred dollars later and thats what it will look like for the trunk parts. The trunk lid panel was not as hard but still time consuming
On my previous car I was going full fiberglass(forming to the walls of the trunk) and basically it makes things ENORMOUSLY difficult and a PITA. Go with simple stuff and move up to more elaborate setups. Here are some links to get you going that taught me everything I know how to do now.

These are the sites I used. Basically read them all over and you can figure out what some people do differently than others and what seems to be the normal way of doing it. Very easy to pick up. Just make sure you have everything in order before you start ANYTHING. Buy things in bulk, it will save you money I guaruntee it. Ive gone through so many gloves, buckets, paint brushes, resin that you learn buying in bulk is the way to go even if you doubt you wont use it all

But it doesnt end at just fiberglassing your stretched fleece, sanding it, and painting it. You need to also use "Kitty Hair" aka "Tiger Hair or Fiber Hair" (literally looks like a really wet fur ball in a can)to fill in the big gaps and to give you more form. Then after you get that and sand it, then you have to use fine fiber filler(looks like a thick cream) and fill in over the kitty hair to fill in the small pockets and pits. Then its on to paint.
Its a lot of work and you NEED patience when you do this.

close it(from what I think your talking about). Make sure when you make your system you first draw up and plan the system, and make sure your subs will get the proper amount of volume. If you give yourself way too much volume and your subs can use a ported box, put a port in there to the specifications of your subs.
What speakers and amps are you going to be using? Give me the lowdown on what your idea is.
