Default BOTH front speakers not working

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a '98 mustang gt, and I just realized that both the front in-door speakers are not working... The tweeters work, and the speakers in the back work, so I'm wondering if maybe one of the amplifiers went out or something... I think it would be pretty unlikely to blow out both the front speakers, but maybe I'm wrong about that...

Thanks for any suggestions...

is the stock deck still in it?

Start checking fuses and the connections on the amp on the drivers side of the trunk. That amp drives both speakers so it could be a fuse or a bad connection, or a bad amp.
