where is my weakness?
well i have added two 12inch kickers and a 300 watt kicker amp to my mach460 system...
now i have a kenwood 6140 HU as well
all speakers and two mach amps still 'stock'
my question is, where is my weak link? if i change one more thing, what should it be? where is my money best spent at this point?
thanks all!

I would spend $20 for passive cross-overs(capacitors) for your tweets to take the bass out of them. and bypass the factory amp for them and use your deck to power them. I show how to bypass the amp on page 2 of my cardomian page.
how dificult is it to install something like this? i probably sound like an idiot , but i dont know much about car audio (learning more every day it seems) the tweets are the lower door speakers right?

is it possible to replace all the speakers with better aftermarket speaker and run them "plug and play" with the stock mach 460 amps ?
or would i have to gut the entire thing?
the system sounds pretty bad now with my dnx6140....bass is distorted a little and sounds 'hollow' and it seems like the speakers cant get up to par, when i put a little volume into them they distort as well

if i puchase new higher quality speakers for this, would it just be a 'plug and play' set up or would i have to rewire it all the way through?

will bypassing the factory amps make that much of a difference? i am not comfortable rewiring system my self and dont want to have to pay someone to do it either
now if i simply disconnect the tweeters on the top of the door this will not cause a problem? the one on the passanger side is blown out and rattles like mad, driving me crazy
