I have a Pioneer AViC-D3 with the Sirius box. I have been looking all over for a way to use the stock ford sat antenna with the AVIC. anyone have any info on this one? sat antenna adapters?? or am i barking up a non existent tree?

well.. tore into the idea and got some info..!! Unplugged the antenna from the stock sirius box in the trunk. the plug has a funky square connector but the center is exactly the same as any other sirius wire. So i took off the plastic surrounding housing and BOOM.. the damn thing fits!! So i need to find a extension cable to see if this will work. So far i think the stock trunk antenna will plug in. don't know if it will work tho. anyone know where i can get a extension cable.? What i may do next is pull the head unit out, remove the stock antenna and plug it into the head unit to see if it works..

any ideas???

your new here. To make it easier, can you make the purchase and have it shipped out too? I am sure that he will pay you back.
