Smile 1999-2004 Front LED Turn Signals

Has anyone replaced their front turn signal 3157 bulbs with LEDs? I believe you need to modify the turn signal flasher, since it sees a different load than with a filament bulb. Does anyone here have a working setup? I have HID headlights and foglights that make my turn signals look dim, so I'm looking to go brighter white.

Thanks!

In case anyone is wanting to do this to their car, I installed a Tridon Stant EP27 turn signal relay.

if you get these in a store, right next to the lights will be a load resistor that will fix it as well, probably cheaper as well.

I found that the relay is cheaper than buying a load resistor for each light and easier to install... plus it doesn't heat up and waste energy. But I guess it just depends on where you buy it from.
