Angry Mach 460 Issues

I bought speakers for my wife’s mustang (front 6x8 3-ways and one-inch tweeters). However, I have now discovered that due to her mustang having the Mach 460 system, which uses 6 ohms, the new speakers (4 ohms), may not work. I am getting this info from a guy at Best Buy and am not confident in his answers. We previously had her CD player replaced. I bought the speakers through Crutchfield after entering the specs, and they returned these speakers, so I would think they would work. If installing an aftermarket CD player, would they have by passed the amp due to the ohms or are they not related.

As you can probably tell, I am not an audio wiz and need help. Hopefully the above makes sense.

My ultimate question is can I install the 4 ohms speakers since I have already replaced the CD player (Best Buy wants to charge a $!%# load to rewire and by pass the amp, I am hoping it is already rewired) and if not, where can I buy 6 ohms speakers?

he is right but there is an easy way to bypass the stock amps and make it work. IF you replaced the deck already you would need to wire it the way I show on page 2 of my cardomain page and wire into the bypass hrns that I point to. Now take the signal for the new speakers from the speaker wire going to the tweeters and you have just bypassed the amp.
