Default Interior lights (LEDs) under the dask

So I wanted to add some interior lights; not to have on while driving or anything like that just to have if I need light around my feet. They require a 12V plug in so I need to know where I could wire the positive under the dash. Anyone done this before? Have a better set they know work great?

Thanks,
Matthew

you could wire them to the illumination wire on the headlight switch so they only come on at night or wire them to a switch so you can use them only when you want to.Look for a 12V switched wire in the fuse box and use a fuse tap wired to a toggle switch.

I would wire them to a switch from Autozone or PepBoys or whatever store it is you have around you. I think you can even get the switches from Wal-mart. Then I would tap into the 12V wire for the lighter or something like that. Preferably something that only has power when the ignition is turned on. Then find a good ground connection. Then you can turn the lights on and off when you want to.

good idea, those lights look a little wild, they'll probably get annoying after a while or when the cop pulls you over, your not gonna want all those lights going on
