I just bought my iPod today and tomorrow I plan on installing the adapter to play it through my pioneer head unit and I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to hookup the 12v (yellow) wire to. ive installed a bunch of sytems, but only speakers, decks, and amps. it hooks up just like a cd changer but since ive never put on in, i dont know if i have to hook it to the battery or wire it up somewhere else. any help would be greatly appreciated.[sm=feedback.gif]

 

I'd just splice it into you pioneer's main power wire.

 

Do you have an aux power source in front of your gear shifter? That power is run straight from your cigarette lighter and is always switched on. That would be my choice for power and its quick and easy
