Default Steering Wheel Remote Adapters for AVIC-F10BT

Hi Guys.

my father have just purchased a Pioneer AVIC-F10BT for his Shelby GT-H

but do you guys know what adaptor from Pioneer he should get, to get the controls on the steering wheel to work? (he haven't got the unit yet, maybe it works with the steering wheel right out of the box?)

Thanks.

The adapter is made by us,PAC and he will need the SWI-PS,make sure you get version 1.6.8.Also the AVIC F series radio's did not support the steering wheel preset buttons if it has it.They later came out with the X series to fix that.

Just noticed it was a 05, did they come with steering wheel buttons?

okay, but shouldn't Pioneer's falgship support steering wheel buttons, even if it's a F series? as far as I can see, it's quite new.

do you know where he can buy che SWI-PS?

his GT-H is a 07, so it has steering wheel buttons

The Pionner does support the steering wheel controls, but not all of them. They messed up on ALL F series and left the protocol for the presets off, but you can still program volume, seek and mode if it has it.

WHere are you located?
