I have an 01 vert with the mach 460 and i got in it turned on the key and lyrics came out of speakers and instrumentals were very limited and no bass. there was a constant THUMP from all of the speakers including the aftermarket sub in the trunk. now i do have to ad that a small leak had started and it puddles up in the vinyl material that covers the...amps... and the piece that separates the trunk. my guess was it fried the amps??...... i pulled fuse on sub and the factory speakers continued to thump with the sub unhooked. any other ideas? warm weather is here and not liking the idea of cruising around with no tunes haha

anybody know where to get a good vert top or have a price range i should expect?

 

if water was pooling on the amp then I would start there for sure. It could have spiked voltage bach through the rca's and fried your deck if the sytsem does it with out the amp on.
