...No it is an exact replica of the factory mold. Toward the front of the box where it sits against the wheel well hub, I needed more clearance. So I notched the wheel well hump in the fiberglass to push the box out of the way more (against the fiberglass).

Technically, it is not needed, but I would either have to modify the box or cut into the factory mold...which I wanted to keep unmolested. I orginally made it to make the fiberglass as the backside of my box, but changed design.

When I take out the sub to carpet the fiberglass I will take pics and you will see what I mean.
