you will not get anyone that will go on record to recomend a piece to bypass the federally manditory safety devices that manf were ordered to install. Not gonna happen here or any of the sites I know. Maybe if you hit us some stupid ricer forum that doesn't know better or doesn't care is all I can think of.

ttocs..thanks for the comments..just asking a question is all..first.not into "ricers"..i'm a 63 yr old ..disabled vietnam Marine vet who did 3 tours..was asking so my wife could watch a movie while i drive..and as an installer you never did anything to break any federal laws..like bypass a unit..ive read your posting and always thought you were very sharp with your insight and answers..this one fell short..peace

as an installer I cannot give info like that out only to have it come back on me. We had a guy on here last year asking how to bypass his clutch. I know how to do that as I have safely done it on both of my vehicles but knew that it was setting myself up for failure. When I read 7-8 months later that his service tech accidently remote started it while it was in gear and it drove itself into a lake I was happy that I had no part of it. The kid was mad he was out a car and just lucky that it didn't hurt anyone or do any damage on its way to the lake.

I have no idea that you are who you are and wanted it for your wife. This is the first time I have heard that request for a half good reason and sent you to a ricer forum as I could only see a kid that doesn't care handing out info like that. I am not a kid and I do care.

with a correctly, or even legally installed remote start why would it matter if it was facing chernobyl and started?

he got on here an asked how to bypass his clutch to do a remote start on his stick. We didn't help him but he was crafty enough to figure it out. Unfortunatly he was not crafty enough to install a nuetral safety switch or an alarm that was made for it and left himself wide open to have his car driven into a lake.
