Thats an interesting point, and exactly why I wouldn't want the 8" subs...I mean the shaker 500 sounds decent if you leave the volume to about half or under (keep in mind i mostly use the ipod aux jack) but after you turn it up past half to max volume (where i listen to most of my music) the speakers and subs just cant take it. Its not worth keeping the 8's I agree

Ahh I see, I've never had a shaker, I didn't realize they weren't that good.

now that u said that, i think that's what i have going on. i have bass, but not as much as i think i should have. i started thinking maybe the 8s were out of phase with each other, switched one 8's wiring didn't seem to help. it's funning because i can feel and see the bass(shaking side mirors), but don't hear that much. i'll have to unhook the 8's all together.
