Default amp wiring?

I'm trying to get the remote wire to go to the amp,

if its on the [ant] remote it doesn't change anything, the door speakers play.

If its on the [amp] remote wire it turns the radio on but no sound.

If its on the remote turn on wire for the head unit it blows fuses.

I'm at a loss, any help would be appreciated......

Connect remote to remote. Check that the amp itself, turns on. If you're getting no sound, make sure your other connections are correct. If that fails, make sure your gain isn't all the way down (you should still hear something even if it is though), if it still doesn't work and you thoroughly checked all connections...You may have a bad amp. It's hard to say with the limited info..

You're kinda confusing me. What does the radio coming on have to do with the amp? The radio should come on regardless. You connecting the remote lead to something should have no bearing on whether the head unit powers up. You have to check and make sure the amp is coming on. It should have an indicator led somewhere on it.

Also what speakers do you have the amp pushing? The doors? A sub?

Most likely the remote signal from the radio dont have enought current for the amplifiers, make sure the output is 12 volts and if it is just add a relay

can you explain better how many amplifier and what head unit you have ?
amd if this system work before
good luck

I have a mach 460 system, with a Sony xplod HU the remote wire that is on the factory harness goes to the factory amps, When I tried splicing into it for remote for the aftermarket amp the factory amps didn't come on.

I already fixed it, bad ground, but now oddly the 4x6's in the doors aren't playing, but the tweeters are, everything else works fine

you do not have 4 x 6 but 5 x 7.

Those are turned on by the blue amp turn on wire in the hrns at least if you are using an aftermarket hrns
