Sound deadening
What do you guys use? I'm looking for best bang for the buck.
Looking at raamats stuff
http://www.rammat.com/
the BXT and the ensolite foam. Good route to go? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

What are your goals?
If you are looking to just reduce panel resonance, RAAMMAT BXT II is not a bad product. The ensolite also works well to stop panels from vibrating against one another.
If you are looking to kill transmitted noise, you are going to need more than constrained layer dampening and foam... Something like mass loaded vinyl that weighs in at 1 pound per square foot. The only downside is that stuff, while effective at reducing road/tire/exhaust/extraneous noise, adds a LOT of weight to your vehicle.

I'd like to cut out any resonance and vibration along with blocking out outside noise. What should I be looking into if I want to block out noise from outside as well?
1lb per sq foot... damn. Do I pretty much need complete coverage with this stuff as well? so I'd be looking at what, 70 sq feet? 70lbs? Will that make any noticeable difference in acceleration in my 4.0l '05?
