I was just curious in the speaker sizes in new edge body style mustangs. I have an '04 V6 and was possibly looking at a new audio system, nothing major. I just wanted to know the speaker sizes of the small door ones by the mirrors, the bigger door one by the floor and the rear two behind the back seat.

I also would be interested to know...and any suggestions anyone might have for replacing the factory stock ones for a 2011 base model V6.

 

The door and rear deck speakers are 6x8's or 5x7's, depends on the brands you are looking at but they are the same size. In the 04, the ones by the mirrors are just tweeters but I have seen up to a 3.5" be put in the housing with some modifying.
