Well the front speakers in mt GT are blown, so upon going to Best Buy, and other various places I have arrived at nothing as far as an answer to my question. Does anyone on here know where I can get a decent set of aftermarket speakers for the front of my car? With doing this I still would like to use the tweeter that is in the upper portion of the door. Most places that I stopped said that if I were to buy speakers with the high range already on the speaker itself then there will be feedback through the original tweeter/high range in the door and the sound quality goes so far down the drain its nearly to China. Any help on this issue would be great, and if the best alternative is to get speakers with the high range already on it then I'm open for suggestions. I don't have a huge sound system nor am I looking to make one. Thanks again.

 

if $180 ish (ebay) fits in you budget the alpine type x ref 6.5s sound great. the come with the adapter plates to fit the 5x7 opening. the are a component set sou you could still mount the tweeter where you want.
