Default 1986 dash speaker question

So I have a 86 mustang gt conv. For the longest time I thought my right speaker on my dash board was blown out because its not working but then I recently replaced it with a Polk audio 3.5 and there's still no sound! The rest still work and yea I still have the stock deck with the amp in the center dash but at this point have no idea what the cause is and how to fix it any ideas would be great And like always thanks!

Check the fuse associated with the amp. Just a starting point. Wish I was there to see the symptom in person.
