Default 99 Cobra Mach 460 problems

Today I was driving my car home from school and I had it muted. Eventually I turned it up and realized I had no bass. I messed with the settings on the radio and got nothing. I get home and check the wiring, nothing is loose and it seems like it should be fine. The 2 subs/speakers in the rear do not work but the two tweeters do. What could be causing this?

It was working fine on the way to school today, btw.

EDIT: Actually NONE of the drivers are working. Both the door and rears are totally silent. The tweeters all work though.

I had the mach 460 too. I yanked it when mine did exactly what yours is doing. Mine was the stock amp's for it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the amps in mine too. Just got a couple replacements for $65 shipped so we'll see when they get here.

Yeah you have a dead short in one or both of your rear amps. The way the system is wired back there it only takes one of those amps to short to cut out the bass in the entire car.

it would be wise to check your fuses before you start shotgunning parts in it.
