Default Stock headunit aftermarket system issues

Hey guys good to be back on here long story short don't have my 07 gt now in a 2011 5.0.

Well here's my problem I'm having hopefully you can help me figure it out.
First my new current setup
I bought a pair of focal k2 components for the front.
1 Memphis 75wattx4 channel amp
2 Memphis m3 10 inch subs
1 Memphis 1100watt mono block
And audiocontrol lc6i
Running on 2guage wire from battery to back where its split into 4 gauge wires running into each amp

My problem is I have to run the 4 channel amp on HP. Or the midrange distorts @ 15% volume using flat setting on amp.
On high pass settings speakers are very bright where it hurts my ears an keeps shutting speakers off at 30% volume I feel like they can handle alot more if i can tune it right . If I run the 4 channel amp on FLAT they sound better but midrange again keeps distorting.
I have audiocontrol tuned properly and I messed with the settings on amp just doesn't sound right.
I think I need a new head unit and 30 band crossover/ equalizer
Feels like to me I can't get perfect balance of hi mids and lows.
I am either getting to much bass from midrange or none at all.

Anything you guys recommend?

Sorry for grammar on my iPhone lol

what are your gains set too on the amp? Bass/treble controls? how have you confirmed that audio control is correct?

Gains set to about 40% on amp
Cross over set to full range. because if i increase it any midrange left over goes away
Bass treble on head unit set to default altough doesnt make too much difference if i move treble into negative. on the audiocontrol i get the light thats comes on saying maximized

was this a mach/shaker system? are you tapping the signal from the stock stereo in the back by the speakers? if that is the case, then that is your problem. The stock decks do not put out a horrible signal but it is also not the greatest, but they feed into the stock amps. The stock amps introduce alot of noise to the signal. So when you tap the signal in the rear, you knock down that high voltage signal back down to a low-level rca signal and you do that to all sounds fed to it, including the noise from the deck, and the amp. That then gets fed back into the new amp.

The other problem is depending on what speaker you tapped the signal may not be full range and could be crossed over.

The easy fix to this is to tap the signal from the back of the deck. In other ford stereos I have just cut the ends off an rca and then soldered it to the signal wires on the back of the deck and fed that into my amps.
