Default Sound System help

Hey guys. I just put a 5-channel Boston GTS-750 amp into my car. All the wiring is done correctly as the speakers and sub get pretty loud. However, I've noticed a few things wrong. My sub (250 watt) isn't putting out nearly as much bass as it should be and my speakers (75 watt each) are still putting out quite a bit of bass themselves (they shouldn't be right?). Also, I've noticed that on some songs, I hear distortion in my speakers while in my friend's car it sounds great. All my speakers and my sub are matched up with the amp. Any ideas?

sounds like the crossover on your amp for speakers is to low. move it up past 300 or buy a 0-300hz bass blocker (google it)

Fixed. Thanks man. I apparently bumped the front speaker high pass switch to off when I put my cover back on.
