Default Removing backseat

I am running wires to the trunk and also need to get to the speakers in the back, so if anybody knows how to remove the bottom portion of the rear seat in a 2000 mustang convertible and/or has done it before, i would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks, Joey

you dont have to remove the seat. just run wires under the scuff board along the side and then they can fit up the side panel a bit and the tucked under the side of the seat. i have had my wires routed this way for over 6 months with no wires showing.

i have a 96 gt and all i did was just take a screwdriver and run it along the bottom of the seat and you will feel 2 pins that you have to push. once you hit one of them that side of the seat will pop up. then just find the other one on the other side.
