Default shaker 500 swap

i am looking to install a used shaker 500 in my 07 gt to replace defective one. Is there any dealer reprogramming necessary ? Thanks

Oh no,you should just be able to take it out and no reprograming,you will just have to get a new wiring harness for the new stereo and you will be set!

Welcome to the forum. I would just replace it with better components...that's what I'm doing now. All you should need is what ever components you buy and then the necessary wiring to install it. But I'm not 100% positive as I'm still working on my sub and amp setup :shrugs:

i picked up another shaker 500 for $25. Figured i couldnt go wrong for now. Just wasnt sure if i can just swap them or is there dealer involvement needed. Guess i will find out tonight....
