In my 02 GT, my mach 460 only plays CDs when it wants to... and sometimes only plays slot 1 and 3 or different variations. I'm thinking that the laser in the CD player could be dirty so I wanted to take out the system and clean it. I know how to take out the deck, but how do I open it up and get to the laser to clean it?

U don't necessarily have to take it out u can use a cd lens cleaning cd first and see it that fixes it but i doubt its even the dirty lense thats the problem
