Default Changing Mach 460 HU

I'm looking to change the head unit on the stock Mach 460 in the Cobra (99). I'm on Crutchfield and looking at this head unit.

According to Crutchfield, all I would need is the wiring harness that they sell for $20. Is this correct? And I know the 460 is a PITA, but I can still retain all factory speakers/amps, correct?

the 460 is NOTHING to be scared of, yes its different from the stock system but by far the easiest premium stereo to work with. There are a couple of different ways to go about this depending on what your end goals are. Are you going to keep the stock speakers/amps or are you planning on upgrading? Adding a sub at some time or any amps?

That is not a bad deck but I would advise you to go put your hands on one to see if you like the controls. There is a bit of a learning curve between manf controls and some people like kenwood and others hate them.

Page 2 of my cardomain page ride 2395420 shows how I integrated a deck into the mach system to help you out a little with some pics.

Awesome! And no, I plan on keeping the rest stock. I'll take a look.

If anyone else has anything, feel free to chime in.

EDIT: Would the Crutchfield harness take care of it all?
