Backseat amp mounting
depending on how big and how much the amp weighs. if its a small amp then yeah if not then its not a good idea. you can do an amp rack like i did, my amp was WAY too big to put in back of the seat, heres a pic..

Make sure you use as short as possible screw to hold it if you do - you don't want your passengers getting a suprise acu-puncture treatment
Plus I'm sure you'd hate to see those screws coming through [:@]
You might consider mounting a piece of plywood (covered in matching carpet of course) across the span of both seats first to disperse the load - then mount your amp to that.
