Default Odd light problem after installing HIDs

Recently joined the forums and have been browsing around. Now I have an issue and this looks like the right spot to post in.

Basically i bought and HID kit from ebay for about $30 with the train of thought that if it was junk id go back to factory and be out $30. I installed them with no trouble and ran it for about a week until the passenger side stopped working. I discovered the ballast was bad and recieved a replacement this week. Reinstalled them and the hids work fine...but if i turn my fog lights on, they stay on. Even with the car not running and lights off. The only way to shut them off is to turn the car off and start it back up with lights off (car has pushbutton start, has for several months with no problems)

Now with this being a cheap kit, some splicing was done. Just the low beams and ground wires for the headlights though, and nothing was severed, i just stripped part of the factory headlight wire and tapped into it. What could have happened with the headlight wires to affect the fogs, and why wasnt this an issue before? Its wired up exactly the same way.

Car is an 05 gt, only things done performance wise are axel back exhaust, cai and brenspeed tune. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Pull and switch the fog light relay first (in BEC, owners manual will list it under the fuses section). May simply be sticking/faulty.

Then, make sure you got your wiring right, I'm not sure how you wired this of course, but the normal means is 2 fused leads to the battery from the ballasts, then tapping the low beam lines on either side to set off the HID relay to turn them on. I'd pull your taps first to see if that has any effect.
