Default enough power?

The last owner of my 03 mustang replace the stock headunit and replaced the four speakers with decent kenwood ones, my question is do you think i should get an amp for these speakers to make sure they are getting the full potential of power?

If they are componets, meaning they have a separate woofer, tweeter and crossover, then yes, if they are coaxial, meaning to most people regular speakers, nope, you should be fine. If you do want to add one, something small like 75x4 is plenty, i would recommend a 50x4 tops.

P.S. try to stay away from Best Buy, there sales people are uneducated to the market there are very few Best Buy car audio employees that truly know what they are talking about, like I said though something small would probably give you more full sound, but it's going to be probably $400 for the cost of an ok amp and install, so you decide whether it's really worth it.

Yeah i know about best buy, so after i talked with the guy i talked to my friend who is pretty good with audio and he agreed. It would be too risky judging by the power my speakers put out.
