Default Mach 1000 Sub boxes

Hey guys. A guy i know is selling 2 12" kickers and an 1800 watt stax amp. If i bought them i would really like to have a really clean look in my trunk. I was wondering if there was anyway to purchase mach 1000 sub boxes and mill them out to 12" and fit the kickers into them. Thanks in advance

It's possible, but it likely won't sound right. Subs require specific airspace to function/sound "right". Could you do it? Yes. Will it sound right? Doubtful. You could look into a local shop making a custom box for you, but that will be expensive.

I would avoid local shops. I would also avoid using a box made for 10's for a pair of 12's. would never sound right. best thing to do would be find someone with the box that is lookiing to upgrade.. You might already have the wires ran for it so it might be plug and play. of course you would need to the two amps to go with it, but anyone who wants to upgrade would be upgrading those as well. might look on ebay or something. if you can't find anything, I would either build your own box, or find someone who can. you will get a much better sound from a wood box. plans can be found on alot of sites, most subs come with plans and the specs you need.
