So i found a card in my dash for the warranty of a KARR security system. I have a ton of wires and a box with an LED on it under the drivers side dash. Im not sure what this thing does and i've read a bunch of stuff online but they only seem to answer questions for a newer unit. The car was originally sold out of Oxnard California in 2001 and appears to be a dealer installed option. It now lives with me in the ATL so im not sure it does me any good and if it doesn't i wanna take it out.

Any idea what it is and if i can subscribe to a service?

 

Dealers will prewire a car for a alarm.When the car is sold all they do is connect the alarm brain and charge you $500.

The good thing is, you can add a different alarm to the wires they used instead of hunting for wires.
