he said it was 75 for the instal and 100 for each Alpine speaker so it would be a little under $300

Adaptor There, thats what it looks like. You can get it from Crutchfield if you like but almost anyone that installs head units should have it.

Thanks, I think I'm going to order it. So I talked to a guy at crutchfield about it and he said that your supposed to swap your amps if you swap the head unit of a Mach 460 system...He said to try the adapter first because it might be all I need, but I could have to swap to an aftermarket amp...

Like I said, I recommend taking every piece of the 460 out and putting in your own stuff. But not all of us have that kind of money to just dump into a stereo at once.

i had a the same problem it turn out that the pos wiring harness i got at bust buy was the problem. i went to the shop where i usualy buy my stuff he sold me a new harness haven't had problems since. you have to use your rca jacks to run the factory amps.
