Default Where to run power through firewall?

So I have a 04 GT with a 5spd that I need to run the power wire through the firewall. All the info I have found so far says to use the extra spot in the firewall....except it is only 'extra' if you have an auto, because it is where the clutch cable goes through.

So where did everyone else pass their power wire through for an amp??

you could poke in through an existing grommet, but you'll need to seal it up else you'll get water running in.

That is what I figured, but wasn't sure as to what grommet people use. Not seeing anything that looks terribly easy to use.

drivers side near the top where the stock wires go through is a very large grommet that you can poke a hole in beside the wiring and then push the wire through.
