Default 97 Mustang, with mach system adding a sub?

okay the 6x8/6x9's sound pretty decent but i want more bass in my car but i do not want to look trunk pace, has anyone ever added a sub or 2 maybe some 8"s or a 10" somehow into the back seat? I had a idea about putting one under the back seat. or maybe even just doing away with the stock back seat and making a box the same size and adding a sub n amp then putting some fabric on top so if anyone did ever ride back there. No one ever does i just still need the back seats to lay down flat for hauling things. I really like to get rid of the rear speakers all together the box hangs to low for some things i try to haul..
has anyone here ever done anything like this? I am sure if i went to a audio shop they could but don't want to even think of how much money they would charge me.

I put a removable sub box in the trunk on my 2000, that worked pretty well. Kinda sucked when I had the trunk packed-with or without the subs installed.
I saw a post here where someone put 8" subs in the doors, similar to the shaker 500 speakers. It was a lot of work but it looked like it would work pretty well.

Did you install a line convertor on the rear speckers or how did you hook up the amp
Thanks

On my 2000 I replaced the head unit with one that had line outputs, so I ran an amp with the line outs.
On my 2012 shaker 500 I replaced the factory amps with a Sony 200W Sony XM-4S amp that uses speaker level inputs. I ran the rear speakers to the amp inputs. The Sony amp turns on and off automatically when it the radio is turned on. There are lots of amps that do the same.
I picked the Sony amp because I could mount it in the kick panel on the drivers side, so it doesn't get in the way.
