Default Speaker wire Routing?

I am running new speaker wire for a complete stereo overhaul on my 07 GT and I am just wondering where others have routed the wires back to the trunk? I am looking at routing them on the drivers side, since the amp power wires will be coming down the passenger side. I tried putting the 4 wires under the plastic sill plate, but they don't seem to fit properly and just wonder if anyone has pics of other places to do it? Are they okay to run along the factory harness and just zip tie them to the harness all the way to the back?

are you powering the speakers from the head unit? if so, that should be fine. head units have bridge-tied-load (BTL, or differential) speaker outputs, which means they're pretty immune to noise.

ah. well, speaker wires are still pretty safe to run along the vehicle harness; the source and load impedances of the speaker/amplifier output are too low for any induced noise to be a problem. It's generally accepted that you want to make sure your line level cables are kept away from potential EMI sources, since they're single-ended and the input impedance of the amp is pretty high.
