Hey Guys I just Purchased a 96 Gt with the Mach 460 and it has the factory radio in it just the ford cassette player, and it plays fine but sound only comes from the upper door speakers by the mirrors and the back seems to just play through the tweeters also there is no Bass what so ever no matter what the radio is set on. Please help is it the amp or what I cant find anyone who knows anything about these systems.

 

Sounds like the sub amp is either bad or is bypassed. Most likely it is bypassed for some reason. The person you bought it from probably had an aftermarket radio in there and re-installed the factory just to sell the car, but did not reconnect the factory amp.
