CD Player not working

Default CD Player not working

I have a 10 disc cd player in the trunk of my car. It was already installed when i bought it. When i push play the little screen says E-99. I have the cds in the correct way. Please help!!!

My best advice would be to call the manufacturer and ask them what it means, I would guess it's an error code. More than likely your looking at buying a new Cd Changer if you really want one, if not rip it out and put a better one in it. If you want to and it is just broken and you don't have a warranty which im assuming you don't since it was already in the car, your looking at just about the same to repair as you would to buy a new unit. Depending on what setup it is, you may have a comm. problem. Is it modulated?
