Honestly, for the price you will be paying for 2 OK subs, get on JL Audio 10" W6. Undoutably the best sounding and performance woofer for the money. I have actually won SQ (sound quality) contests with this sub. Loud enough to be audible with any type of music, bu efficient enough and hs a light enough motor structure to perform as one of the best in the world.

 

Thanks guys i will look into all of your suggestions. I honestly listen to rock more but i want something that i can listen to both rock and some rap with.

If you can say that the W6 Is one of the best in the world you have no idea what your talking about. But if by best you mean in the top 100 drivers, then maybe. (Im not saying the W6 is a bad driver by any means) And for $450 I can tell you the MTX 8510 will outperform that DUB6 any day of the week. And if you are really looking for best bang for the buck category don't ever look at a driver that has a nationally recognized name. They have more concerns than build and sound quality. Fiberglass is simply for show you will never, or should never see a fiberglass enclosure in a SQ competetion and place decent. And it's expensive too. And if the proted box is designed right you can in fact make them sound as good if not better than a sealed box.
