I Know what i want...
I am planning on getting two subs for my trunk. I don't want something that just makes a loud boom i want something that is crisp sounding and i don't need it to be ridiculously loud. i am willing to spend up to 175 on each one....any suggestions?... also does anyone know how much a custom fiberglass job would cost?
You can't go wrong with either JL Audio or Alpine R Series, You might get away with 1 so you will still have a trunk! I have 1 10" MB Quart and while not overly loud the SQ is awesome.
Definalty do the sound deadening, with all speaker locations. 10's if you really just want to add clean tight bass, ported or sealed doesn't really matter in our cars. Well it does but not with your application. Alpine is always safe to go with, Memphis has good solid product, MTX is great stuff too.
I'd go with a sealed enclosure too.
Fiberglass jobs are expensive and depends on the size, countour, detail and finish that you want to go with. Of course you could always venture out and try it yourself but be prepared to have a few failures before you get the right one.

Get a pair of Kenwood 10" db+. Frickin incredible sound, and I agree with the other guys, sound deadening is a must have. You don't really need a fibre glass job unless you are going to be showing it off, but don't go with a ported box, sealed is way tighter.
