Every time the bass speakers extend on the bass hit, when the speaker retracts it acts
like a parachute, and will put drag on the car, thus slowing it down....
Just kidding, no, it will not effect performance at all... Not unless you're putting 200lbs of weight in...
Then again, great for winter... No, it will not make the car go slower....
