Default shaker 500 or 1000 ID needed

Hello, is there a way to tell which stereo system my car had in it when new? I believe the gentleman I bought my car from bought it at an insurance auction. The radio and the sub woofers and amps were stolen out of the car. All of the wires to the subs and amps in the trunk were cut. My thoughts are to figure out which system it had in it and find someone parting one out so I can put the factory pieces back in it so everything works? Thanks for any help, Rustyrides

You said that the wires to the subs and amps in the trunk were cut so that suggests to me that it was a Shaker 1000. The 500 didn't have anything in the trunk so no wires to cut there.

Take your VIN to a Ford dealer and ask for an Oasis report, That should have what the car had when it left the factory.
