Default shaker 500 all messed up

i was recently listening to my shaker 500 had it cranked up almost all of the way when suddenly the sound completely stopped the head unit continued as usual. i tried turning the unit on and off to no avail. when i got home i removed all what seemed like 37 fuses it took to completely kill the stereo and amps. plugged them all back in and re tested. the door subs turned on and kicked but none of the rest. i gave up for the night.

the next morning i came back out and tried it again...this time the unit came on the door subs worked so did the rest with the exception of the driver door. the system performed at about 10% sound power. if i turned it up the speakers could pop like they were busted or badly rattled and cut on and off whenever a beat would pass through. bass or strong treble like the amp was being overwhelmed or shorted.

i assumed that since the driver door spks didnt work it was a short in it affecting the system the sub in the door continued to work being that the subs are powered completely separate. i took the door panel off which required removing 2 hidden torque screws one under a panel behind the door opening handle the other hidden under a panel behind the other handle a few other hidden screws and abt 12 along the bottom and sides of the panel.
anyways, i removed the factory speaker and unplugged it...no change. i tried the fuses again. and again the main spks quit working.

the next day i came back and the main spks were working again...but every time you would shut a door all the main spks would turn off and then slowly fade back on... both doors caused this. i dont know if it was electrical because of the lights from the door being closed or what...or if it was a physical jarring. this problem has since subsided and door closing doesnt affect the spks now.

i traced down and found the door sub amps under the dash on the drivers side kickpanel but couldnt find the amp that controls the regular spks. i took the head unit out, opened it..with a few screws the entire 6 disc changer pops off as an entire unit.no fried looking componets and the unit itself looks like it doesnt have an amp in it at all. there is the main board and a small almost flat silver box that stands vertical like the sound box you would find in a vcr if you are taking it apart. and thats IT!! i put the head unit back together and reinstalled but now i am stuck. can someone please help me?!?!

sounds like you either have a bad connection or you blew one speaker and its shorted and its cutting out your system. 1. dont listen to your system with it maxed or almost maxed cause it clipps the amps and sends strong dirty signals to your speakers and frys them. 2. factory systems arnt ment to be anything special if you want some bass and loud speakers replace everything.

Not to be too abrupt but why the f... are you tearing it all apart when it should be covered under warranty. If you break something while tearing it apart your warranty will be screwed. Let ford fix it. 3 year 36,000 mile warranty.
