This is for those who are afraid to do aftermarket stereo upgrades.It is the best thing i have done to my ride since i put a supchrg on it.I went with a eclipse 8445 deck 8v pre, jl 5x7 components in front door & jl 6 1/2 where the 8" crappy woofers are.To do this remove the woofers out of the door to do so you need to take the door off because it is screwed from the back.Then take a saw or dremel cut the magnet off leaving some metal so you can bend it flat and rip the woofer cone out.now put some dynamat flat on the bent metal and cut a hole for the 6 1/2 screw the 61/2 from the back into the bent metal. This is all so you can keep a factory look because the cover of the 8" woofer is welded on. This way the speaker grill from the factory will screw on perfect.Anyways back to my system jl 5x7 coax in rear deck all my highs and mids ran by eclipse pa5422 4 channel amp is awesome. And for the monster 1 jl audio w6 ran by phoenix gold octane r15 and helped by a stinger 1 farad cap. The bass hits so hard your mom has to hold on to her teeth so they dont fall out. So cover your ears and hold on to your kids cuz im coming down the road.biiiiiiitch$
