2005 Shaker 500 Problems, Anyone Else?
Within two weeks of taking delivery of my 2005 Mustang, I had problems with the head unit. It would skip constantly, and eat CDs. So, it was like a 5 or 6 cd changer, it would eat the one in the first slot, I would use the second. Eat the one in the second, I would use the third. Eventually I used all the slots, and all my CDs were stuck in there.
I went to my dealership and he made me feel like they were having a lot of problems, and replaced it (with the B version or some crap like that). The new one ratlled a bit (like it had a bad fitment) and a few weeks later, began eating my CDs.
Since then I have replaced my head unit, all of my speakers, added two tweeters, two amps, and two 10 inch subs. However, I am still bothered by the problem. Don't get me wrong, its an awesome car and I got quick, friendly service with regards to my problem, I am just wondering if this is a common problem.
