mach460 and subs

i would like to put a set of 12" subs in my GT,

how would this be possible?

would i need aftermarket amps?

i dunno what they are sayin but there is a much easier way to do it all after maket first off get a converter box or a new head unit (radio) and go from there but when you put in a new radiop overide the amp first thres a special hazrness to eliminate it or just unplug it then basicly do what ylou do with the amp and subs any more questions hit me up

i would much rather keep my head unit tho....and since money is really tight, woudl only like to add a little bit of bass


how could it be possible to install subs into this configuration?

get a converter box that yo wire in to your rear speakers to turn them into low output rca jacs then run them to your amp like a regular amp if you have an after market and by doing it this way you keep the factory amp but you will have to go to your local dealer and get the wiring diagram for the remote wire

u dont need to go anywere, just get a voltmeter and find a good ground and then find a wire coming out of the back of the head unit until u get 12 volts. Turn it on and off to make sure its on and off with the radio.
