Default Plugging MP3 player into the head unit?

I have a 2001 Mustang GT, and my 6 disc changer stopped working. I was curious if I could plug a portable cd player (I have one that reads mp3 discs) into it. I do not see anywhere to plug a device in on the head unit. This would be a good temporary fix though and I would be mp3 disc capable so it wouldnt be so bad.

you can use a tape adapter if you have a tape player but thats very low quality. i would just replace your deck with an aftermarket one thats already mp3 capable you can get one for under 200 thats like 5 times better than the factory radio.
